The ILAF business seeks to bring under privileged communities with vested interest in ILAF focus areas into the mainstream economy. In the main, the ILAF will support individual families to exploit agricultural related opportunities by establishing home based economic industries that will facilitate creation of sustainable business activities. Furthermore, it is in the interest of the ILAF to encourage and support youth initiative both on social and economic fronts by providing leadership, life skills as well as entrepreneurship development.





Ikusasa Le Afrika Foundation is currently implementing its poultry project in 3 communities , Willow fountain , Kwa Swayimane and Kwa Ximba. Ninety people have been trained on poultry production for 5 days ; the training is theoretical and practical. Nineteen broiler houses with capacity of 1300 broiler has been built for 19 households ; 10 broiler houses in Kwa Swayimane and 9 in Willow fountain and 1 house in Kwa Ximba is under construction.
