Dr Zweli Mkhize
Dr Mkhize is the chairman of the Board and a non-executive director of ILAF. He holds a MBChB degree and has served the KwaZulu-Natal province as the MEC for Health (1994-2004), MEC for Finance and Economic Development (2005-2009) and Premier (2009-2013) He is currently the Treasurer-General and member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the African National Congress (ANC) and Chancellor of the University of Kwazulu Natal., he was the chairman of the ANC’s National Education and Health sub-committee.
Mrs Manana Nhlanhla
Manana is a non-executive director of ILAF She holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science. Over the past 20 years, she has been involved in various businesses and has served as a director and chairman of various companies. Manana spent the early years of her career as a University lecturer in Information Science and is currently an executive director of Mion Holdings and its investee companies.
Mr Bheki Zulu
Bheki is an executive director of ILAF. He holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and a Certificate in International Business and Management. He has served as a director in various companies and institutions and is the former chairman of the Black Management Forum in KwaZulu-Natal. He has worked as a senior manager in the private sector and state owned companies in the areas of Organisation and Management Development, Human Resources, Transformation and Operations Management.
Dr May Mkhize
Dr Mkhize is a Board Member of the South African Women Entrepreneurs’ Network and the Targeted Aids Intervention and is a trustee of the Batho Batho Trust. She is currently self-employed as a Farmer of sugar cane and livestock. She holds degrees in Medicine and Surgery.
Dr Mkhize’s previous appointments include: Provincial Chair for the National Progressive Primary Health Care Network and Chief Medical Officer EDH Paediatrics.
